Monthly Store Meetings
Routine business is conducted at monthly store meetings, held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Meadow, the Co-op's community room. Although only the Board of Stewards are able to vote at these meetings, member participation is actively sought, and the meetings are run on democratic principles. All members will receive work credit for attending meetings.

Committee Meetings
In addition to membership and store meetings, there are also committee meetings. Members earn work credit for attending all meetings.

Annual General Membership Meeting
Bylaw amendments and organizational goals are reviewed and approved by the membership at the annual membership meeting. As needed, general membership meetings may be scheduled on thirty days' notice at any time of year to deal with particularly pressing issues requiring the approval of the membership. Each membership has one vote at these meetings.

Elections
The nine-member Board of Stewards oversees policy and long-term planning. Our stewards, elected from the membership, meet at 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of every month. All are encouraged to attend the meetings; both the staff and Stewards serve you, our members and shoppers.

2011 Annual General and Special Membership Meeting
Results from the Membership Meeting
The membership approved a bylaw amendment to elect all stewards in 2011 and to change the length of term to 3 years. For 2011 only, 9 stewards will be elected with the 3 highest vote recipients (#'s 1, 2 and 3) being installed for 3 year terms, the next 3 recipients (#'s 4, 5 and 6) being installed for 2 year terms, and the next 3 (#'s 7, 8 and 9) being installed for a 1 year term. Elections will then be for at least 3 board members each year.
Congratulations to our newly elected stewards. Elections to 3 year terms: Alison DePaola, Matt Talley and Nature Love. Elected to 2 year terms: Flo Monroe, Tom McKenney and Neal Tillotson. Elected to a 1 year term: Nancy Willing, Don DelCollo and Rosemary Volpe.
