Enjoy a fun-filled day at the Co-op Farmers Market Summer Festival! In addition to our regular market vendors, we will feature kids' activities, food demonstrations and live music all day! Local green organizations will be on hand with practical solutions for a sustainable future. Help us celebrate the start of the summer season at our annual festival!

Newark Arts Alliance
The Newark Arts Alliance will feature an "Art to Go" project for kids and kids of all ages. Get creative painting flower pots and decoupaging picture frames with comics! Visit Newark Arts Alliance.

Newark Area Welfare Committee
The Newark Area Welfare Committee will be selling their Good Neighbor Bean Soup and offering information on their community assistance programs and volunteer opportunities. Visit Newark Area Welfare Committee.

Orange Pomegranate

LIVE MUSIC SCHEDULE:

10:00am - 10:45am: Michele McCann
Michele McCann is known for playing the hurdy-gurdy and a variety of instruments in the Folk, Celtic, French and Traditional genres. Visit Michele online with her bands, Mythica and Slyte of Hand.

11:00am - 11:45am: Keeping Sunday
Kiki of Keeping Sunday has been singing since anyone can remember. She wrote the lyrics to her first song at age 3. When she was 7, she discovered the guitar. The rest, as they say, is history. Visit Keeping Sunday.

12:00pm - 2:00pm: Kona Shame

Find the freshest selection of locally grown produce and plants at our outdoor farmers market! There's also a great selection of prepared foods including fresh, hot pizza-to-go, baked goods, Indonesian foods, goat cheese and canned goods. Local art and crafts round out the selection with hand-made pottery, jewelry and knit goods.

The Co-op Farmers Market, sponsored by Newark Natural Foods Co-op, meets every Sunday from 10am - 2pm in the Market East Plaza on Main Street. It is a rain-or-shine event. Everything for sale is locally grown and/or made in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
