The City of Newark's Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with the University of Delaware, Christina School District and the Downtown Newark Partnership present the area's premier fall festival on Sunday, September 19. This exciting event features fun for the entire family.

The Green provides the perfect outdoor venue for local musicians and demonstration groups. A food court will have a variety of foods. Fine Art and Homemade Craft vendors will be displaying and selling their creations. The Children's Area is always a big hit with Scarecrow Making and more. Community Information booths and activities are supplied by a variety of local businesses and organizations. As usual, the Bazaar and Flea Market Area will be filled with attic treasures and unique surprises. On Main Street enjoy dining and retail specials at Main Street merchants and demonstrations on the Academy Building Lawn.

Please remember that pets are not comfortable in the heat and crowds of large events, so for their safety and the safety of those attending the event, please leave your pets at home.
