Finger-style Swing and Country-Jazz Pickin’

Get set for a night of fast-moving fingers and steel strings as the Finger-style Swing and Country-Jazz Pickin’ concert comes to the Newark Arts Alliance’s main gallery on Friday, March 19, from 8-10 p.m.

You can also get a bowl of chili (regular or vegetarian) with all the trimmings for $6, starting when the doors open at 7 p.m. Beverages, including beer and wine, will also be available.

The concert brings together two well-known local musicians, Michael Brook and Steve Hobson, showcasing their playing, singing, and songwriting talents. In addition to their classic Gibson jazz guitars, the musicians will play ukulele, lap steel, and porch board bass.
