Fennel Slaw Demo & Recipe
Chef Lisa of Dinner Thyme Personal Chef Service and her newest endeavor, Orange Pomegranate will demonstrate how to make Fennel Slaw at the Co-op Farmers Market on Sunday, July 25th. (Recipe follows.)

Fennel Slaw
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 1/2 cups fennel bulb, thinly sliced
1/2 large onion, thinly sliced
Directions:
Whisk together lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Combine fennel and onion in a serving bowl. Pour vinaigrette over vegetables, gently tossing to coat.
