The Newark Community Cooperative Board of Stewards invites all those who are interested to sign up for one or more of the following committees:

- Personnel Policy Committee
- Point of Sale System Committee
- Sustainability Committee
- WebSite / IT Committee

Please send your name, member #, phone # and email address and the name of the committee(s) you want to join to the boardofstewards@newarknaturalfoods.com or sign up in person at the lists available in the store at the customer service desk. All are welcome. We'll contact you as soon as your committee(s) get underway. The Sustainability Committee, for instance, is already a very active, continuing committee with Jan Baty and Joe Tucker as Co-Chairs!!

"The Winter Market" Dates and Hours
The Winter Market starts on Sunday, 12/4/11, 10 AM to 2 PM, in The Meadow (next door to The Co-op). The Winter Market features local foods and handcrafted goods. Dates for the Winter Market are every other Sunday except Christmas Day and New Year's Day: 12/4, 12/18, 1/8, 1/22, 2/5, 2/19, 3/4, 3/19. Our outdoor Summer Farmer's Market will resume on the first Sunday in May (the 6th), 10 AM to 2 PM.

Co-op Kids' Coloring Contest - Thursday, March 15th!

- All kids who submit coloring entries will receive a healthy food prize for their entry!
- The top three entries for boys and girls from age groups 2-5, 6-8 and 9-12 will receive children's gift baskets of kid-friendly, healthy foods!
- Click the above images to download full size images for printing and coloring. Children can also submit their own drawings and coloring projects!
- The winners will be selected on Thursday, March 15th, at the Monthly Co-op Board Meeting.
- Entries will be posted in the seated area of the Co-op and/or The Meadow (the lecture and event room next door to the Co-op)!
